Waiting for lunch

During my walk at the Alligator Creek Preserve I saw this beautful bird and got a good shot. I had no idea what this bird is called. My neighbour said it is a little green heron. A small, short-legged and short-necked wading bird. I got another good shot of this bird later when walking back to my car. I will show this painting tomorrow.
