Listed Wine Cellar

On the way from Vienna  ( Austria ) to Retz near the village "Grund" , next to the federal road there stands this  unique wine cellar with a saddle roof. Before the roof there are gables with  dormers . This is realy a construction jewel and protected as a historic monument I never have seen a similar wine cellar in Austria.

Windmill near Retz in Lower Austria

Today's windmill , built in 1853 stands on the site of a 1772 built wooden windmill . Since 2010, the windmill is operable as in historical times after restoration by Dutch millwright . - A witness of the former grain processing with millstones and with wind power is the only form of energy . Technical and architecturally authentic preserved mill with original functioning .
