Prof. Albert Hoffmann , my teacher , mentor and artistic friend for over 16 years , received last week , the ” Austrian Cross of Honour for Science and Art .” Congratulations !
With this watercolor I have  tried to capture this special moment of this honor.

Today's windmill , built in 1853 stands on the site of a 1772 built wooden windmill . Since 2010, the windmill is operable as in historical times after restoration by Dutch millwright . - A witness of the former grain processing with millstones and with wind power is the only form of energy . Technical and architecturally authentic preserved mill with original functioning .
